Sefer Ha-Bloggadah: week 11

This week we finish up with the giving of the Torah, and then slam on the gas pedal. After spending over 2 months on Genesis and the first half of Exodus, we're going to zoom through the other 3 1/2 books of the Torah in 2 1/2 weeks. (The narrative parts, anyway. We'll hit some of the non-narrative parts in the non-chronological books of Sefer Ha-Aggadah.) Note that we're not necessarily hitting these stories in the same order they appear in the Torah. The reason for this is an interesting subject for speculation.

• Monday - 1:5:40-47 (The Giving of the Torah)
• Tuesday - 1:5:48-55 (The Giving of the Torah)
• Wednesday - 1:5:56-61 (Nadab and Abihu; The Sin of the Golden Calf)
• Thursday - 1:5:62-68 (The Sin of the Golden Calf)
• Friday - 1:5:69-81 (The Tabernacle and Its Vessels) [Note that the Hebrew edition, apparently accidentally, has two sections numbered 8.]
  
• Saturday/Sunday - 1:5:82-83 (Israel's Journey and Encampment in the Wilderness)
